Our Refund Policy is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in how service payments are handled in the event of cancellations, overpayments, or disputes.
General Policy
Due to the nature of our services, refunds are generally not issued once a storage or handling service has commenced or been scheduled and resources allocated. However, certain circumstances may qualify for a partial or full refund, as outlined below.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
Service Cancellation (By Client)
If a client cancels a scheduled service at least 5 business days in advance, and no resources (e.g. tank allocation, transport) have been mobilized, a full refund may be issued.
If cancellation occurs less than 5 business days in advance, a cancellation fee may apply to cover administrative or operational costs.
Service Cancellation (A & A Trans & Storage)
If we are unable to fulfill a confirmed service due to internal issues (e.g. tank unavailability, force majeure), the client will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule without penalty.
Overpayments or Duplicate Payments
Any verified overpayments or duplicate transactions will be refunded promptly to the original payment method or applied as account credit, based on client preference.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
Services that have already been rendered (partially or fully)
Administrative or inspection fees
Government-imposed duties or compliance charges
Costs incurred from third-party providers (e.g. transport subcontractors) that are non-recoverable
Refund Process
To request a refund, clients must:
Submit a written request to info@a-atransstorage.nl
Include relevant details: service reference number, invoice, reason for refund
Requests will be reviewed within 7 business days
If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days, typically via the original payment method or wire transfer.
